Spread across 225 acres, Jubilee Park is one of the best places to explore in Jamshedpur. The spot is famous not only among tourists but also among the local people of the town. Many people visit there to go cycling or jogging, while others get there to have a relaxing picnic with their family or friends. As the park has a lot of different features, people tend to spend their entire day exploring the park. The Tata Steel company gifted this park to the people of Jamshedpur in 1958. It was founded to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Jamshedpur.
The founder of Jamshedpur, Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata himself, designed the park by getting inspiration from the Vrindavan Gardens in Mysore. While exploring the park, you will see a statue of Jamshedji Tata. Jubilee Park is commonly known as the “Mughal Gardens of Jamshedpur.” When you enter the park premises, you will understand that it is not an ordinary park. It has a zoological garden, fountains, Foliage par, Rose garden, and other features that make the park quite different from other parks in India.
There is a small amusement park located in Jubilee Gardens as well. If you have kids, you must keep some time in your hand to explore the park as they will enjoy the site very much.
