EPREC is the annual international conference of the Electrical Engineering Department, NIT Jamshedpur with plenary sessions, keynote addresses, tutorials, student paper contest, stall displays and most importantly, high quality presentations from the best of the researchers in India and abroad.

The 5th " Electric Power and Renewable Energy Conference (EPREC-2024)" is top-level International Conference and is technically sponsored by Springer. There are multiple tracks in the conference covering various areas of Electrical, Computer & Electronics Engineering. The EPREC was started on 29th May 2020. EPREC interfaces with industries and academia through various technical activities. Conference Proceedings will be published in LNEE, Springer and indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, etc.

The four editions of the Electric Power and Renewable Energy Conference (i.e., EPREC-2020, EPREC-2021, EPREC-2022, and EPREC-2023) have been a great success. The Electric Power and Renewable Energy Conference has been a premier forum for presenting recent advances in Power System, power electronics & drives and control application in power system areas. Now, 5th Electric Power and Renewable Energy Conference (EPREC-2024) is being organized by Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India during May 24-26, 2024.

The conference will feature various expert talks, paper presentations, and discussions on state of art technologies in power system, power electronics & drives, control applications in smart power system, and recent advances in applied soft computing.

It is planned to publish the peer reviewed and selected papers of conference as proceedings with Springer in their prestigious “Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering” series (https://www.springer.com/series/7818). For detailed instructions for author and editors of conference proceedings, kindly visit the following link: https://www.springer.com/us/authors-editors/conference-proceedings. Select papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published. Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication.

The accepted and presented papers will be divided in 4 book proceedings for possible publication in Scopus-indexed LNEE, Springer. The list of the 4 book volumes are given below with respective volume editors:
