The 6th International Conference on Electric Power and Renewable Energy (EPREC-2026) - formerly "Electric Power and Renewable Energy Conference" - is a prestigious international conference organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bhilai. Building on the legacy established by the previous five editions, which were successfully organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur, this conference continues to serve as a leading platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research and innovation in Electric Power and Renewable Energy.
Since its inception on 29th May 2020, EPREC has been a significant forum for fostering interactions between academia and industry through diverse technical activities. The 2026 edition will feature plenary sessions, keynote addresses, tutorials, a student paper contest, stall displays, and technical presentations of the highest caliber. The conference spans multiple tracks, covering various areas of Electrical, Computer, and Electronics Engineering.
The five editions of the EPREC (i.e., EPREC-2020, EPREC-2021, EPREC-2022, EPREC-2023, and EPREC-2024) have been highly successful. Over the years, EPREC has established itself as a premier forum for presenting recent advances in Power Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Control Applications in Power Systems, and Soft Computing Applications in Power Systems.
Now, the 6th International Conference on Electric Power and Renewable Energy (EPREC-2026) is being organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India, from January 02-04, 2026.
The conference will feature expert talks, paper presentations, and interactive discussions on state-of-the-art technologies in Power Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Control Applications in Smart Power Systems, and recent advances in Applied Soft Computing. The proceedings of EPREC-2026 will be published through IEEE, ensuring global visibility and indexing in leading databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar.
EPREC-2026 aims to bring together researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share knowledge, foster collaborations, and discuss innovations that address current challenges and opportunities in the field of Electric Power and Renewable Energy.
